Summary

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to design and develop new features on Alpha gaming platform.

Requires proficiency in C++/C/Linux and networking protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyses designs and implements new features on Alpha gaming platform and system products.

Tests, integrates, troubleshoots, and debugs existing embedded software applications.

Plans, codes, tests, demonstrates, and trains fellow engineers on software engineering practices followed by Company standards and practices

Maintains strong working relationship with cross-functional teams.

Documents all tasks performed, solutions to issues, and implementation process.

Researches new technologies and incorporates them into new gaming/systems products

Training AND/OR Experience:

Experience in implementing microprocessor-based real-time, multithreaded embedded software systems.

5+ years of professional experience developing C, C++ projects

Knowledge of network programming and extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

Knowledge of security protocols and web technologies including web services and XML.

Experience developing/designing large software systems.

Gaming industry experience is preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to share expertise and train subordinates

• Ability to multi-task and work independently

• Good working knowledge and understanding of software modeling in real-time response environments

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably BSEE, BSCE, BSEET, or BSCS or equivalent work experience

• MS preferred
