Well-respected high-volume advertising personal injury law firm looking for a case manager.

Prior experience as case manager or pre-litigation claims manager IS required.
<br>

Responsibilities would include everything related to a personal injury claim from the inception of the claim to settlement or transfer of file to litigation team such as:
<br>

<br>
1) Meeting with and calling clients to provide updates regarding their cases;
<br>
2) Requesting medical records and bills from treating providers when treatment ceases;
<br>
3) Obtaining and verifying insurance policy coverage and limits for any and all coverages including, bodily injury, UIM, resident-relative coverages, medpay, etc.,;
<br>
4) Preparing and writing the demand after all records have been obtained;
<br>
5) Communicate via telephone and through written correspondence to insurance adjusters and medical providers;
<br>
6) Under the supervision of the attorney and at his direction, negotiate with adjusters to reach settlement;
<br>
7) Upon settlement of case, follow-through with insurance carrier to obtain settlement proceeds; and
<br> All other tasks related to case management.
<br>

<br>
The position would NOT have any LITIGATION tasks and only deals with the aspects of a case PRIOR TO filing suit.
<br>

<br>
Must be able to multitask and MUST be able to work independently without constant direction. Position includes management of approximately 110 cases.
<br>
