SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Our growing development team is seeking experienced lead software engineers who enjoy developing web applications utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies. Candidates must have a deep understanding of web technologies, distributed computing architectures, and have experience working on enterprise Internet application projects. You must be able to work well in a team, enjoy working on multiple projects, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to adapt to change. Candidates should have experience working in a full life-cycle project — from requirements gathering through deployment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not all inclusive)
o Design web applications using ASP.NET and associated components
o Component development using .NET framework in C#
o Database modeling and data access layer development
o Requirements analysis and design
o Interact with QA/Test group to deliver high quality software
o Ability to lead a team of developers by example
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
The qualified candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
o 5 years experience in software development
o 3 years experience designing and implementing transactional MS SQL Server databases
o 1 year experience as a technical lead on two or more projects
o 3 to 5 years experience designing and developing web applications using ASP.NET and C# from the ground up
o 2 years experience using XML based messaging technologies
o Experience building enterprise-scale web applications in a team of 3 or more developers
o Ability to work under tight deadlines with measurable milestones
o Possess excellent communication skills and strong commitment to quality
