Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary/Status: $25,000 - $30,000 USD/year – Full Time (Based on Salary History/Experience)

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred / High School Diploma/ GED Required
Requirements: Must have valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, computer and Internet access, must be available to work non-traditional hours such as late nights and weekends, must be 21 y/o or older, must be a non-smoker, must have strong writing and communication skills and must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Travel Required: Once per quarter or less

A motivated, creative, and energetic Promotions Assistant is sought to support the award-winning URBAN FUEL™ campaign. This individual would be responsible for all of the components of the campaign including bar/club nights, special events, fashion, direct mail, website, 18+ events, tobacco cessation promotion, and community outreach.
URBAN FUEL™ is an anti-tobacco campaign designed to reach the 18 – 26 year-old population in Las Vegas. Rather than traditional health messages, URBAN FUEL™ focuses on culture change by promoting smokefree and sexy lifestyles. URBAN FUEL™ uses club nights, college special events, clothing, and social networking to change the image of smoking and make the local party culture healthier.
Under the guidance of a Brand Manager, the Promotions Assistant would assist with:
- Use street marketing as well as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter to promote campaign activities;
- Assist with bar and club nights, requiring this person to work multiple evenings per month on both weeknights and/or weekends, including event promotions, decorating, and experiential marketing;
- Recruit people to join the direct mail list, distribute direct mail pieces as samples;
- Promote and assist with special events and all ages events for the campaign, such as dances, bowling, skating, festivals, and/or pool parties, amongst others, including event promotions, decorating, and experiential marketing;
- Identify individuals to assist with the campaign, such as models;
- Manage the creation and distribution of campaign fashion within the party scene;
- Manage the campaign website;
- Provide timely reporting on campaign progress to RSCG staff and client.

Clients include local, state and national government organizations as well as not-for-profits, schools, universities and foundations addressing issues such as tobacco, violence, underage drinking, and after school programs. RSCG provides services in marketing, research, and strategic planning to execute social change efforts nationwide. RSCG has grown over 100% in the past 3 years and is expected to grow over 50% this year. RSCG efforts are focused on youth and young adult populations to cause behavior change and/or policy change.
